Developing Quality Online Classes for Your Students

A consortium of the Montgomery County ESC, SOITA, and the Hamilton County ESC was recently awarded a grant by the eTech Ohio Commission to provide FREE training on Quality Matters Grades 6-12 Online Rubric course. Quality Matters is the “gold-standard” for determining the quality of online courses. If you or your school is going to purchase or develop online courses for your students, you need to take this course. Districts are encouraged to have a team of educators and administrators take the course.
 
This completely online class lasts approximately 3 weeks and is mostly self-paced. Certified Quality Matters trainers from SOITA will provide support during each class. This class is offered for free to all educators employed by a public school district. Space is limited, so register today before these classes are full. This QM course will only be offered this summer for free . You may choose from numerous class dates listed below. Once you register, the instructor will email you the week before the class with login instructions. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 15 contact hours.
